How do I set up AI features?

Open the app → Settings → AI Configuration → Select a provider. For free testing, choose Groq and sign up at console.groq.com for a free API key. You can also use Ollama or LM Studio for local AI processing at no cost.

Is my data sent to Nousivo servers?

No. Nousivo does not operate backend servers. All document processing happens on your device. When you use AI features, queries go directly from your device to your chosen LLM provider using your own API key. We never see your documents or AI conversations.

How do subscriptions work?

All apps offer a free tier with daily limits. Pro/Premium tiers unlock higher or unlimited usage — SeekerPDF also offers a lifetime license. You can also purchase AI credit packs for pay-as-you-go usage. Subscriptions are managed through Apple's App Store or Google Play and can be cancelled anytime.

Can I use the apps without an AI provider?

Yes! Core features like PDF viewing, scanning, annotations, form filling, and file management work without any AI setup. AI features (chat, analysis, translation) require configuring at least one LLM provider.

Which LLM providers are supported?

We support 12 providers: OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, Groq, Together AI, OpenRouter, HuggingFace, Mistral, xAI, DeepSeek, Ollama (local), and LM Studio (local). Several offer free tiers, and on-device AI routes need no key at all.

How do I restore my purchases?

Open the app → Settings → Subscription → Restore Purchases. This will sync your active subscriptions and lifetime purchases with Apple or Google.

How do I request a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple (iOS/macOS) or Google (Android). Visit reportaproblem.apple.com or play.google.com/store/account to request a refund for any purchase.
