No. Nousivo does not operate backend servers. All document processing happens on your device. When you use AI features, queries go directly from your device to your chosen LLM provider using your own API key. We never see your documents or AI conversations.
All apps offer a free tier with daily limits. Plus and Pro tiers unlock higher or unlimited usage. You can also purchase AI credit packs for pay-as-you-go usage. Subscriptions are managed through Apple's App Store or Google Play and can be cancelled anytime.
Yes! Core features like PDF viewing, scanning, annotations, form filling, and file management work without any AI setup. AI features (chat, analysis, translation) require configuring at least one LLM provider.
We support 9 providers: OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, Groq (free), Together AI, OpenRouter (free models available), HuggingFace, Ollama (local, free), and LM Studio (local, free). Each provider has different models, pricing, and capabilities.
Open the app → Settings → Subscription → Restore Purchases. This will sync your active subscriptions and lifetime purchases with Apple or Google.
Refunds are handled by Apple (iOS/macOS) or Google (Android). Visit reportaproblem.apple.com or play.google.com/store/account to request a refund for any purchase.
